"micro Flipper"the dwarf from the construction lift Flipper family
The smallest version, which we launched in fall 2024, is designed to make work considerably easier, especially for tradespeople from various trades such as tilers, PV installers and window and door fitters.
The profession of tiler: is particularly physically demanding, the constant kneeling, standing up, pushing and lifting puts a lot of strain on the body, which has a negative impact on the joints, back and health in general over the years.
However, before the actual work can begin, all the material has to be moved into place. Very often, construction sites are located on upper floors and everything has to be dragged up the stairs, which adds up to quite a lot over an area of 100 m2.
The weight of tiles with a thickness of 10 mm is approx. 22kg/m2 * 100m2 = 2200 kg.
Add to this the tile adhesive approx. 2.5kg/m2 * 100m” = 250 kg.
This results in a total weight of 2450 kg just for the material.
If it had to be carried up the stairs by hand, then you had to walk 98 times. This means that an employee will have to walk up and down the stairs 98 times with a weight of 25 kg to carry the material.

The consequences are clear and obvious!
Short-term consequences:
- Rapid fatigue within the first two hours.
- Hauling must be interrupted and spread over several days.
- Pain from hauling the next day, possibly sick leave.
Long-term consequences:
- The joints and intervertebral discs are particularly susceptible to wear and tear due to the constant dragging, especially up the stairs, which is why the profession of tiler should be made more attractive to young employees.
- This often leaves the unpleasant lugging work to muscle power, which nobody wants to do.
